I kept getting the blue screen of death on my Windows 7 machine so I re-installed windows after trying system recovery unsuccessfully several times. Anyway, now when I turn the computer on it asks me for a user id/pass but there is no account on the computer. How do I get around this?

A couple of weeks ago, I started getting the blue screen. Tried everything you did and nothing worked, but I didn't get the screen asking for user id and password. I wound up having to take my computer to PC Tech in Wise. They said I had a Virus, removed it, put a different virus program on the computer and it was up and running in just a couple of days. Hope you get it fixed.
When you re-installed did you format the hard drive? Might be something left over from the previous installation causing the problem that a format may resolve.
